Or not even $200 a day, how about betting $10 an hour for eight hours a day, 40 hours a week, heck maybe 20 hours a week just for some extra cash. Would this be any better in terms of odds?
I think you know what I’m getting it here. See I think these online casinos have something programmed to make you lose after you’ve won a few times, cuz if you win once, you’ll play again and win, play once more and win, keep playing and then start losing. But what if you just play once a day for a certain amount, cashing out immediately after and repeating the next day?
Why don’t you try it? You’ll see that there is a reason why people are professional poker players but not professional blackjack players (excepting card counters which won’t help you online). Blackjack, even the online games, are games of chance. Over a long period of time, whether you play continuously or not, you’ll lose.
I think the problem is going to be that most online Blackjack shuffles the deck after every hand. So getting any kind of real count on the deck is not going to happen.
Then, depending on the exact combination of rules used by the house you are going to be facing a house edge of at least 2%.
So with that in mind, what makes you think you can make any long term profit?
All gambling is rigged.
Unless your play changes due to playing for many hours or if you have alot of credit in your account… no it won’t make a difference. The odds of the cards don’t change because of time played. As a pro player, its actually better to play as much as you can because the more you play the more likely you are going to be able to see out short term luck factors.
Some players think like i should have quit while I was ahead but the honest truth is that the ups and downs are just part of the territory. Your skill is what brings out the long run profit and it makes no difference if you spread 1000 hands over a day or a week.
My other advice would be to make sure you leave enough in your active bankroll whether online or off to cover the ups and downs. I think you stick to the rule of thumb of keeping your big bet to about 2% of your bankroll OR making sure you have at least 50 times your big bet.
good luck.
i dont believe in any way that online casinos, (or real casinos for that matter) set you up to lose. they do not have to. the odds are always in theyre favor. that means, the longer you play, the more likely you are to lose. if you want to win at blackjack, play the real thing and learn to count cards. the casino has the advantage, and learning to count cards puts the advantage back on your side. somewhat anyway.
The only way to become profitable long term at blackjack is by counting cards, which cannot be done online.
Plus when you cash in and out, most services that do this charge a fee. Even if you could count cards online and gain a profit, you’re giving it away by constantly cashing in and out. If would be just like a card counter that gained an effective $10 an hour edge at a table through their play, but tipping the dealer $12 an hour, so they end up losing money.
