Has anyone ever stayed at the Boomtown Casino in Shreveport, La?

My husband and I are planning an anniversary trip to Bossier City/ Shreveport. We are looking for a nice casino hotel to stay in that won’t completely break the bank. My husband thinks Boomtown might be ok but its really hard to tell online. Has anyone ever stayed there before? How was it? Where do you like to stay when you visit Shreveport? Are there any tricks to getting a great deal on a casino hotel room??

We love Boomtown in Bossier and are planning a trip there ourselves again later this month.
If staying during weekdays you can usually get better rates than weekends.
The rooms are very comfortable and modern, and their buffet is fantastic.
Also their slots have a 98% payout.
We usually come home with about an extra $300 in our pockets.

I’ve never stayed there personally yet it’s just awesome there. Shreveport is a great town I visit regularly since my brother – in – law is stationed at the air force base there. It’s a great place to go and be.
