Do you think the odds of winning are pretty much the same online that it is in a live casino? I played on sportsbook.com but i only try to bet on basketball games since i think its more fair. I just have these thoughts that if i play online it’s easier to spot that i’m winning and easier to loose in the end (if i play slots for ex.).. is this true or does it not matter?

Hmmm…this is a good question. I would think that a person would spend less at an actual Casino though-because they can physically see what they are losing versus just a bunch of numbers on the screen that are connected to a credit card…it would probably be a good way for me to go broke!

well buddy . I played on bodogs and vip sports. Basketball is safer. Baseball is a good bet too because various pitchers are a lock. But the return is less. Football is tough in the earlier weeks. Hockeys lines are too close. College sports lines can be huge. Think of it this way. Online is really easy to access betting. TRY to stay AWAY from online casino. The problem with betting online is that you see what you are losing but you dont really realize it. To me 20 dollar is nothing online but in real life i wouldnt spend money so loosely. I gamble roughly 40 – 200 dollar per game. Single bets are more favorable in sports betting as oppose to parlays, teasers … etc. Craps is hard to play online because you are wagering yourself, Roulette or any other casino game. You are not actually holding any chips. So you are more carefree on your spending. Real Life Casino also may comp you better if you lose and give you free drinks in table games. Just remember you can’t place sports wager in any casino only in vegas and offshore boat or offshore casino. As for slot machine, there are a lot of progressive slots out there but there isn’t that many, slot machines like wheel of fortune, jeopardy , (theme slots) that can pay pretty well in progresive slots. I dont know anything about the slots that have over 3 pay line. The ones with 20 lines that pays. As for odds being the same ,it pretty much is on realiable sites. Play conservative and have fun. And of course don’t bet because you need to win money back. Have fun.

The odds are pretty much the same. If you can control yourself online and not let the ease of it sucker you in to betting more than you would otherwise, then it is a good way to play. Consider all the other expenses of going to a casino – gas, food, valet, tips, travel/hotel (depending on where you live) – all of these are expenses you don’t have if you play online.

Online and Real Casinos are NOT THE SAME. I am glad you asked this question. The games are similar but the results will not be.

I win consistantly 75% of the time when I go to real casinos playing a combination of blackjack and craps, but on-line I barely have winning sessions 25% of the time.

The difference between real and on-line is the the on-line game uses a RNG (Random Number Generator). It generates spins on the roulette wheel, cards and rolls of the dices with this. In real life you can win 5 hands of blackjack in a row because of chance/luck. But on-line the random number generator will balance your wins and losses so that streaks rarely occur.

Also, I am not sure I can trust on-line casinos. I win a good amount at sportsbetting on Bodog and when I go on their casino, sometimes I feel like they make me lose to get back some of their money from the sportsbetting.

Basically, I don’t think on-line casinos are fair and balanced. There is no way to prove this but it is my gut instinct. If you reall want to play on-line, do it for small stakes and test the waters first. But I would save the big money for REAL casinos. Good luck!

In an Online Casino you have total access to Blackjack, Texas Hold’Em, Craps, Roulette, or whatever game you prefer anywhere in the world through your laptop or home computer. You can bet on horses at any track in the country with better than at-track odds. At no time in the history has gaming been more accessible and more fun, all done in the privacy of your home. You don’t even have to stand in line to cash out.

Online Casinos Offer the Most. Unlike a trip to Las Vegas, Atlantic City or Monaco, you can visit hundreds of Casinos online at any time of the day or night, advantages you don’t have in Vegas or other cities. The number and variety of games offered by Online Casinos dwarf those of the traditional Casinos. You can play Online Blackjack for $1 minimum bet or Online Poker for a 10 cent ante. You can even play for free. You can study other players online and learn how they beat each other or the dealer. You can play several games simultaneously. If you play them smart you make your money twice or three times as fast. Why drive 50 or 100 miles to the nearest Indian Reservation Casino or wait to board a paddleboat so you can dump your coins in a dated slot machine?

More is Better. Online Casinos are super convenient. If the cards or the slots aren’t going your way at one Online Casino, you simply click onto another one. It’s good to have an account at several Online Casinos so that you don’t have to spend software download time or money transfer time when you want a quick switch. You don’t have this quick convenience at traditional casinos. Even if you are plunging on the Las Vegas Strip, it’s a 20-minute walk from Casino to Casino. A one-second mouse click can take you from Online Casino to Online Casino and you never have to move a foot, all advantages of the electronic age.

Best Odds. Online Casinos offer more games of chance and better odds than all of the traditional brick and mortar Casinos put together and the comps in the form of bonuses can’t be beat

Hello,

Personally I prefer to play online. I don’t have to drive, find parking, I can have a drink at home without being worried about drink driving. Also, I can limit myself at home.

I’ve used Bodog and 888.com before but lost too much. The best bets I’ve had is from playing the slots. I generally do OK.
